Cooking Directions:
This recipe is one of my favorites, though I must admit that white Asian pear tea can sometimes be difficult to come by. If you can't find Asian pear tea, just substitute it out with regular pear tea. To begin this recipe, pull out your tea kettle, and place it on the burner. Next add in enough bottled water to yield one finished cup after boiling. Once your water reaches a boil, pour it straight into a large tea cup, and then add in the loose or bagged tea. Let the tea steep for about seven to eight minutes, then strain it into a large glass iced tea jug. Next pour in the seven cups of spring water, the cinnamon pear syrup, and the sweetened condensed milk. Take out a spoon, and stir the concoction vigorously until you have a silky and smooth color. Next place your iced tea jug into the refrigerator to chill for two hours, then serve it cold poured over crushed ice. Garnish each glass with a small dash of fine ground organic cinnamon.
