Cooking Directions:
This berry iced tea recipe is a little sweeter than most of my recipes, because I have slightly upped the syrup dose, so we can really get all the common berry flavors involved. To get started, boil enough water in your kettle to yield one full cup. Once the water is boiling, pour it into a large tea cup. Next add in the healthy berry tea, and let it steep for seven minutes. Remember, your goal is to make this one cup of tea strong enough to saturate the whole batch. Once the tea is finished, pour it into an iced tea jug, screening out any loose tea particles. Next pour in six to seven cups of bottled spring water. Once you are done with that, it's time to add in the berry syrup, blackberry syrup, raspberry syrup, and blueberry syrup. Finally add in the strained fresh lemon juice, and now you are ready to stir it up. When stirring make sure all the syrup has dissolved. Finally store the jug in the refrigerator to cool down for several hours, and once it's cold enough to serve, pour it in tall glasses filled with crushed ice. As a side option, garnish each glass with a mint sprig.
