Cranberry Iced Tea is a very healthy iced tea recipe, especially if you use Alvita brand cranberry tea, and the all natural Monin cranberry syrup. To prepare this recipe, take out your tea kettle. If you don't have a nice kettle, I recommend the Paula Deen Signature 2 Quart Tea Kettle. Next add in enough spring water to yield one full cup after boiling. Next bring the water to a rolling boil, and then pour it into a tea pot, or a large tea cup. Next add in two to three bags of the cranberry tea, as you want a very strong cup to flavor the whole batch with. Let the tea bags steep for about seven minutes or so, which will allow all the rich flavor and color to saturate the hot water. Once your tea is ready, strain it into a glass iced tea pitcher, making sure to screen out any loose tea particles. Next pour into the pitcher the cranberry syrup and strained lime juice. Keep in mind that straining the lime juice is a very necessary step, as bitter seeds and pulp can ruin your brew batch. Finally take out a long wooden spoon, and stir the iced tea until all of the syrup has completely dissolved, and your color is even and consistent. Lastly do a quick taste test for sweetness, regulate the syrup level if needed, then slide the pitcher into the refrigerator to chill for a couple hours. Once the iced tea has chilled, serve it in tall iced tea glasses poured over ice cubes. Garnish each glass with a mint leaf or two.
