This is a unique classic Earl Grey iced tea recipe, with a slightly off the beaten path twist to it. To begin you will want to take out your tea kettle, and boil enough water to yield one full finished cup. When you have your scalding hot tea cup ready, add in the SpecialTeas brand 821 Earl Grey De La Creme, and steep enough for an extra strong mixture, bearing in mind this one cup will flavor your whole batch. With regard to the tea, do try to get a hold of this brand, as it's top notch. You'll notice it has notes of vanilla, apples, and fresh spices in it, along with your classic and delicious Earl Grey flavor. Once your tea has steeped long enough, and you have a dark rich flavor, strain it into a glass iced tea pitcher. Since we're using loose tea, use a fine strainer to filter out all of those loose tea particles. Next step, strain into the pitcher the lemon juice, again strain it well, you don't want bitter seeds and pulp in there. Next pour in the honey, six to seven cups of spring water, and finally the almond milk. This almond milk is just delicious, and it's also a healthy alternative to regular milk. Finally pull out a long wooden mixing spoon, and vigorously stir up the tea, until you have a smooth and even mix, with all your honey dissolved. At this point I like to do a quick taste test, and regulate the flavor if necessary. Finally slide it into the refrigerator to chill for two hours. Once done serve it over ice cubes, and garnish each glass with a mint leaf for two. Thank you again for visiting our site, do browse around a bit.
