Regular Lipton Iced Tea is a classic recipe, passed down from generation to generation. Preparing it is quite simple. First take out a tea kettle. I have a Welco 3 Quart Whistling Tea Kettle, and it works great. Next you will want to boil enough water to yield one full cup. Once your water is at a rolling boil, pour it into a tea pot, or large tea cup. Next add in one to three Lipton tea bags, as you want this one cup of tea extremely strong, so that it adequately flavors your whole brew batch. Let the tea steep for about six minutes. Next strain this tea into a large glass pitcher, as you don't want herb particles floating in it. Next pour in the spring water, strained lemon juice, and the premium Tupelo honey. As a side note, do make sure to strain your lemon juice, unless you like the pulp texture, which can interfere with the tea taste somewhat. Finally take out a long mixing spoon, and rigorously stir the iced tea brew, until all the honey has dissolved, and you have an even coloring. Lastly slide the iced tea into the refrigerator to chill for one to two hours. This chilling process will really let those flavors come to life. You can also give it a taste test before you chill it, to be sure it's sweet enough, or not too sweet, which if it is you can always slightly dilute it with more prepared tea, or more spring water. Anyway, after the tea has chilled, it is ready to serve. Pour it into tall tea glasses over ice cubes, and then garnish it with one to two whole mint leaves. Do enjoy this fine beverage.
