Cooking Directions:
Organic iced tea is a premium and healthy alternative to regular production standard tea, as you can be sure it was grown to the highest standards. To create this wonderful recipe, go ahead and set your tea kettle on the stove, and then fill it with enough water to yield one full cup after boiling. Once your water is at a rolling boil, pour it into a tea cup, and then add in your organic Chai tea. You will need to make your tea very strong, so that it can flavor the whole iced tea batch, so use as many tea bags as needed to achieve that. Let your tea steep for about four to seven minutes. Once your tea is ready, strain it into a large glass iced tea pitcher, making the extra effort to weed out any loose tea particles that try to slip by. Next add in roughly six cups of room temperature spring water, the organic honey, and the fresh squeezed and strained lemon juice. I highly recommend straining the lemon juice, as pulp and lemon seeds can make the iced tea rather bitter. Finally you will need to take out a long wooden spoon, and then stir the iced tea until all of the honey has dissolved, and your iced tea has a smooth and even color. Quickly do a taste test at this point, regulate if necessary, then slide that pitcher into the refrigerator to chill for roughly two hours. Once the iced tea has chilled, serve it over ice cubes poured into tall glasses.
