Caffeine free peppermint iced tea is an excellent tea to drink before bed, as it has a strong calming and soothing affect. To begin this wonderful recipe, please take out your tea kettle, and then place it on the stove. Next turn your burner on, and then add in enough water to yield one full finished cup after boiling. Once your water reaches a rolling boil, pour the water into a tea pot. Next add in enough tea to make an extremely strong flavor base. Do remember this tea will flavor the whole tea batch, so make it really strong. Let the tea steep for about ten minutes, as you don't have to worry about the water cooling down. Once your peppermint tea is ready, pour it into a large iced tea jug. If you used loose tea, strain it well to filter out any loose tea particles. Next add in six to seven cups of spring water. Next pour in the Torani peppermint syrup. Lastly take out a long wooden mixing spoon, and stir up the iced tea brew until you have a smooth and even color. Next do a quick taste test, regulate the syrup if necessary, and then slide the iced tea jug into the refrigerator to chill for about two hours. Once your iced tea has sufficiently chilled serve it in tall iced tea glasses poured over ice cubes. Garnish each glass with a lemon wedge.
